Abstract

Beatrice Tabachnick Seagull, Professor Emerita at Rutgers University-Newark, took photographs of Springfield Avenue and the surrounding neighborhoods of the Central Ward in Newark, New Jersey. The images in this collection span over three decades, from the 1970's to the early 2000's.

Biographical / Historical

Beatrice Tabachnick Seagull, Professor Emerita at Rutgers University-Newark, was a member of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences through the 1980’s and 1990’s. She co-authored with Sara Seagull a book on cognitive function, Mind Your Mind, published in 2005.
