The Institute of Jazz Studies archives program collects, preserves, and provides access to jazz and its heritage to the world for research, creative expression, and enjoyment. The Institute’s archives include unique and unpublished materials with enduring value created and/or compiled by people and organizations related to jazz culture. The IJS is a public research repository and accepts donations of collections with the primary purpose of making those collections available to students, scholars, and the general public.
